It is recommended that patients be seen every six months for a routine cleaning and exam to ensure they maintain their best dental health. During this visit, we will remove any plaque and calculus from your teeth, leaving you with a bright and polished smile. To help detect any cavities not visible to the naked eye, we may take x-rays.

A filling is used to help restore your tooth as a cavity has been removed. Tooth-colored or composite fillings are made out of strong materials which can withstand chewing forces. In addition, this provides you with a more conservative option than silver/amalgam fillings. It saves natural tooth structure, improves tooth strength and stability, and protects against broken teeth. In addition, this type of filling is carefully matched to your natural tooth color and structure, which makes it virtually undetectable to the naked eye.

Teeth bleaching or whitening services can help reverse the effects of smoking, tea, coffee, and other causes of tooth discoloration. Soon after starting treatment, you will start to see a whiter and brighter smile. Contact us today at 559-638-1789 to schedule a consultation to discuss the whitening options available to you.

This type of filling does not involve the traditional dental drill and anesthetics. Instead, a micro air abrasion system is used to to remove damaged areas of the tooth. The area can then be restored using tooth-colored materials. This technique is a great option for patients with dental anxiety and seeking a more comfortable treatment option.

Bad breath or halitosis is caused by many factors including irregular brushing and flossing, dry mouth, tobacco use, specific foods, and medical disorders. If you are suffering from bad breath, our team will help you determine the source and design a treatment plan to help lessen its symptoms. This includes helping you design a good at-home dental care routine, such as regular brushing, flossing, mouthwash use, and more.

A dental crown is utilized when a tooth is severely damaged or has suffered from advanced decay and cannot be restored with bonded filling material. The crown covers the remaining tooth and helps restore its strength, esthetics, and function. Crowns can be made from several materials. The materials used depends on the area of your mouth being restored. If you are in need of this treatment, we will discuss which restoration option best fits your needs.

A dental bridge is used when tooth loss occurs due to decay, injury, or gum disease. When left uncorrected, a missing tooth can have a greater impact on your dental health. The teeth next to a missing tooth (or teeth) can begin to shift, which results in pain, discomfort, and can look unsightly. Dental bridges will help close any gaps in your mouth. It looks and acts just like natural teeth and helps maintain the position of the rest of your teeth because it is permanently cemented to adjacent teeth.

Missing teeth can also be replaced with an implant to replace the root of the missing tooth and a crown on top of the implant. We work with an oral surgeon for precision placement of the implant and we place a special crown on the implant.

Endodontic therapy — a root canal — may be needed if gum disease or a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth. If you have experienced severe trauma to a tooth this procedure may also be necessary. During the procedure, we will clean out and disinfect the interior of a tooth and remove the infected pulp. To prevent further bacterial infections, the canals of the tooth are sealed. At the close of the procedure, the tooth is restored with a crown or filling. This restores the tooth to normal function which adding strength and stability to the tooth structure.

Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, is a safe, effective treatment offered to patients who have a fear of the dentist. This is a blend of nitrous oxide and oxygen and has a calming effect on the patient. When inhaled, the gas is absorbed by the body, and at the end of the dental procedure, the nitrous oxide is eliminated from the body with a matter of minutes.

The leading cause of tooth loss in adults in periodontal disease. Many of the signs go unnoticed because it it virtually pain free, even though it causes irreversible damage. To prevent gum disease from becoming a severe problem, we provide soft tissue management treatments. Dentures provide a great restorative option for patients missing all or most of their teeth. For individuals who retain some of their natural teeth, partials may be recommended. Patients who are missing most of their natural teeth are usually recommended full dentures. In some cases, a full set of dentures may give you a better smile than you had before.
